Terry is an experienced Leadership and Behavioural Coach. He specialises in facilitating culture change programs designed to optimise and sustain safety performance for individuals, teams and organisations across a variety of industries, including aviation, manufacturing, utilities, construction, energy and resources, local, state and federal governments.

Terry has:

  • Implemented processes to establish and maintain effective leader and follower behaviours in support of leading edge organisational change initiatives. Clients include: British Gas, Coca Cola Amatil, Fugro Surveys (off-shore) City West Water, Sydney Water, Macquarie Generation, Eraring Energy and Rheem Australasia.

  • Provided facilitation and coaching services to support high performance teams as well as supporting leadership’s commitment to health and safety for clients such as: Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Authority, BHP Billiton, Bechtel, Snackbrands, Newcrest Mining, GFG, Sydney Water, City West Water, Parchem, British Gas, Scentre Group and Caltex Refineries Australia.

  • Led a facilitation team delivering Safety Culture Leadership Workshops to Senior Leaders from BP across Asia Pacific Region.

  • Provided small group, teams and one-on-one coaching for executives, middle managers and line supervisors with the aim of achieving a sense of achievement, fulfilment and results in performance improvements for the individual and the organisation.

  • Conducted many organisational HSE maturity, capability and behavioural assessments making recommendations and facilitating the development of strategic plans for a variety of clients including: Kraft, Oceana Gold, Caltex Refineries, Scentre Group, Jacobs Engineering, BMA Hub, Sydney Water and NSW Healthshare.

  • Taught Human Resources/Occupational Health and Safety at Certificate IV and Diploma level for the Faculty of Business Management at the Hunter Institute of TAFE and has also completed Sessional Work for the University of Newcastle University and in partnership with Griffith University.
